Green Technology & Atmospheric Research (GTAR) Laboratory focuses on the researches of atmospheric chemistry, air quality modeling, nano-materials synthesis, characterization and its environmental

applications.  The Lab is hosted by Prof. Peng of the Institute of Environmental Engineering of National Sun Yat-sen University.

GTAR devotes to develop green technologies to sustainably deal with environmental issues such as CO2 reduction, clean energy generation, PM2.5 and ozone investigations. Recently, we have successfully synthesized visible-light-sensitive TiO2 photoanode which can operate under low energy illumination. This novel material is applied in a photoelectrochemical (PEC) system to achieve CO2 reduction, hydrogen generation and water remediations.
